I'm taking off for the weekend.
The lake, antique malls, and shopping in the city.
A much needed vacation, with just a hint of school obligations.
The spring weather disappeared today, so I had to layer up a bit. Same scarf as before, When I like something, I for some reason, tend to do it a couple days in a row.
Sweater: Thrifted
Vest: Thrifted and altered
Jeans: Gift
Purse: Vintage
Boots: Nadara Howard
These are my new boots, I adore the detailing on them. I normally don't wear bright red, but they were too unique to pass up. I originally saw them at the mall at least a year ago but passed them up since they were 60 dollars and also the store didn't carry half sizes. Recently I did a search for them and found them in stock, in my size, and also on sale. Good things do come to those who wait!
Those boots are sensational! I've never seen detailing like that before- and the red is great to highlight the details (which would have been lost on a darker boot). Plus, I like to think of red as a neutral. :) Love this!!
