Daily outfit: Witch of the waste
This skirt was discovered in a barn sale. The place was filled with tons and tons of boxes of various goods, and the crowd was left to just dig through them all. I knew in one of those boxes I would find clothes, and I knew those clothes were going to be good.
Some of my best 1950s finds were from that sale, and everything was dirt cheap. I talked them down to 50 cents for this skirt since it was in bad shape, but a bit of sprucing up and I have a lovely 1950s piece.
I cannot wait for summer so I can get back to digging through garages and barns, that's when I have my most fun.
On of these days I will iron my clothes before I wear them, but after a few hours the wrinkles just seems to be less noticeable!
On another note-
I am thinking of a new blog feature that would be to take a runway look, or styled look in a magazine, then reworking it and taking it to the streets.
A look for less feature, if you will.
How to take the essence of a runway look but make it so anyone can work it into an everyday outfit, with easy to acquire pieces.
I also think this will be a great way to look into my closet with a whole new light.
So, if you have a photo of a runway look, or a scan/picture from an outfit you've saved from a magazine - Help me out and send it my way, with your blog link, and I will see what I can do!

I really like this combination and the pendant. The idea sounds brilliant, will be definitely looking forward to it.
