Tell us the fundamental facts about you- Name, where you reside, your history, etc
My name is Mistie. I currently live in Springfield, IL but I am moving to Kansas City in October. I was raised in St. Louis, but my fathers job relocated us quite a bit in my teen years. Mostly to southern states, so it is really great to get back to my roots.

What started your love for vintage?
About 14 I started hanging out with a group of punky kids that shopped thrift stores. I wasn't even aware of them until then. But I was hooked right away!

Do you have an absolute favorite piece?
I have been trying to decide what to write here for a few days. I cant choose just one piece. My wardrobe is based greatly on my mood/emotions of each day. So everyday I could give you a different response.

Can you describe your process for selecting items for your store?
Generally I am not looking for anything specific. I just go into a shop grab a cart and see where it takes me. I am very picky about the condition of my items, so I always check the quality. Mostly I just go with my gut!

What is your own personal style like?
My style is changing, now that I'm in my mid 20's I see myself toning down. I aspire to a quirky librarian style, vintage dresses, slacks and mixing prints. I never leave the house without jewelry.

Besides running an online store, what else takes up your time?
Well, in November I will be doing my first craft show. That is keeping me busy. I will be selling my handmade jewelry, but also expanding to various other items. I love taking second hand and vintage items, and creating something new and unique.

What styles are you excited to see/sport this fall season?
Jackets! I have already stocked up, all I need now is chilly weather!

Where do you gather your inspiration?
I find inspiration in a lot of areas. People on the street, fashion magazines, blogs. Sometimes finding a great piece inspires me to go in a new direction.

Any style advice that you would like to share?
Not every style on the rack is made for every body type. Wear what flatters you body!
