Talk about the greatest coat of all time. Its from a brand of childrens winter wear that was founded in the 40s. This coat isn't quite so old, I'd say its from the 70s, but still quite a find. The sleeves are too short on my long arms so luckily for someone else it'll end up in the shop. I felt like I stepped out of the movie Elf when I was tromping around in it.
Love the advertisement!
The coat is gorgeous; I adore the colour (it's ironic that the colour reminds me of winter when your photos are in the snow) and it looks so warm and cozy <3 http://cupcakesandtreacle.blogspot.com/
I had a Weather Winky jacket in the late 1950s! It was royal blue corduroy with a fake white fur-lined hood. I loved my weather winky!!!! Long live the winky!

I LOVE Your jacket! It does remind me of Elf, but I love Elf!
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely photos! It hasn't really snowed where I live. It's odd that it hasn't!

Is that coat for real?! Haha, it's too perfect! It's a shame the sleeves are too short, because it suits you :)
