Daily Outfit: Ombré

This dress and coat are two recent thrift finds. I'm a pretty big ombré fan and the cheap stretchy velvet material the dress is made of just makes it such a wonderful thrift store piece.

So, in the morning I leave on my road trip to the west coast, and I found out that right off of i-80 is the American Pickers antique store! I love that show and I got really excited today about being able to go there haha. Other than that I am excited to do my own picking and find some cool vintage across the country. I'll post soon with travel updates!

    ahhhh you found that coat in a thrift store!? unbelievable! where do you live? New York is so so disappointing on the thrifting front. everything is obscenely over-picked and overpriced.....well at least in the city maybe i need to get out more.

    Have fun on your trip, and be safe!!! I actually live about 10 miles from I-80, in Utah. If you stop in Wendover on a Friday night, they have unlimited seafood buffet for $25 - all you can eat crab!!! The best one is at the Rainbow IMO, but the Montego Bay is good too. Wendover is a tiny town on the Utah-Nevada border that tries to be like a mini-Vegas, but it's really just a hole in the wall... Great food though!
