What is Love Charles?
Love Charles is my vintage clothing business and personal style blog, and I've also turned my blog into a place where I can document my travels and thrifting ventures.

How do you manage school and running a business?
It's not easy, and I hardly have any spare time. But if I didn't find time to do what I love, school would seem much more stressful to me. I set aside certain days and specific hours for working, that way I can find a good balance.

How did you get started selling vintage?
I wanted to be self sufficient and work a job that I knew would never be a chore to clock in hours at. I spent the summer doing research and setting up a store, so that I could begin turning what I love into my job. I've always collected vintage, so finding stock was never a challenge.

Where do you find your vintage clothing and accessories?
I find them all over the place. My favorite places to go are rinky dink thrift stores in small towns. But I also frequent flea markets, thrift chains, antique malls, and estate sales.

What are you going to do next?
As soon as I graduate in december 2011 I am going to hit the road and travel all over the US and find vintage along the way. This blog will turn into a travel and style blog and I'm going to document the towns I visit and the clothes I find. Lots of photos, lots of recommendations for places to visit, and all the clothes I find will be for sale in my store and I'll ship them from the road. It's something I need to do for myself, I've been desperate to stop sitting around in one place. Once my degree is under my belt I'll work on living out my dream.

What kind of camera do you use?
A nikon d50. It's been good to me for the past 4 years!
