Tell us the fundamental facts about you- Name, where you reside, your history, etc
My name is Cindy Aiton. I live in Johnson City, Tennessee with my boyfriend, Scott. I have lived in Tennessee my entire life, but I hope to someday pack up my belongings and travel the world. I don't want to stop until I've seen it all!

What started your love for vintage?
Going to garage sales with my aunt. She collected vintage cookie jars, so we would get up every weekend and hunt for a new one to add to her collection. I think she has around 400 now. My favorite is the one she keeps the Little Debbie cakes in. ;)

Do you have an absolute favorite piece?
My mother's 8th grade graduation dress. It's a classic 1960's formal gown made from baby blue lace. I also have the charm bracelet she wore as a teenager. It's covered in charms given to her by relatives and friends. She passed away when I was 5, so these items mean the world to me.

Can you describe your process for selecting items for your store?
I don't really have a process. I just buy what catches my eye and what I think others will enjoy.

What is your own personal style like?
My personal style is all over the place! I might wear jeans and a Van Halen tee one day and a 1950's Girl Scout uniform the next. It really depends on my mood and whether or not I'm running late.

Besides running an online store, what else takes up your time?
Right now I am trying to teach myself how to sew. I would love nothing more than to have my own line of clothing. If any of your readers have any sewing advice... I'm all ears.

What styles are you excited to see/sport this fall season?
Leather pants and chain boots. My inner Joan Jett is just dying to get out!


Where do you gather your inspiration?
Magazines, people on the street, other Etsy shops... you name it! I am always finding new inspiration.

Any style advice that you would like to share?
Wear what YOU like.... trends be damned!
