I'm back! Portland Oregon: Vintage by the Pound

I had such a good west coast road trip. Took I-80 most of the way to Portland and we drove for 40 hours straight. I've got lots of cool vintage from Oregon, and lots of photos to show off! I figured I'd start out with the only outfit shots I got from the trip, with a blouse I purchased at a great vintage store in Portland. Coming in as a foreigner, the thrifting is pretty picked over, and goodwill is more like a retail store than what I am used to in Michigan, so I didn't have much of a chance. When I was driving down the street with my friend I screamed out that she had to stop when I saw a vintage by the pound sign, and it was worth it. Reminiscent of the one I went to in Philadelphia, except much smaller and very inexpensive. It was a brightly lit, organized, small environment that I would want to check out on the regular if I lived by it. I got two tops there, one of which I'm sporting in the photos below. Check it out if you're in Portland!

Skirt: Roommates | Shirt: Vintage by the pound | Shoes: My souvenir from Portland, 12 bucks from buffalo exchange.

Lots more trip photos to come!

  1. I love vintage by the pound shops, the ones I've been to weren't nearly as organized as the shop in portland! I like the colors and pattern the top you found the boots are super adorable too.
